Mary Jo Watson grew up in Baltimore and attended Towson State University before earning her Maryland CPA license in 1984. She cut her teeth in accounting at Arthur Anderson & Company before working broadly in the healthcare, software, and management consulting industries. Before launching Accounting Solutions in 2005, Mary Jo managed all retail operations for her family’s business: Watson’s Fireplace and Patio. Mary Jo really enjoys collaborating with business owners and managers to bring all the fragmented accounting pieces together to form a clear picture illustrating which business decisions need to be made to profitably move forward.
