  • Munchie Monday - Grillfire Arundel

If you have to do some holiday shopping - why not go where the food's good too? Grillfire Arundel, the sixth restaurant in the franchise of the New York-based George Martin Group, opened this summer in The Town Center at Arundel Preserve, near the Arundel Mills Shopping Center.

  • Munchie Monday - Mac and Cheese...Lite?

In my quest to find healthy recipes that don’t end up tasting like you’re eating dirt, I stumbled on a lightened version of Macaroni and Cheese from Fitness Magazine. Mac and Cheese isn’t something I eat regularly, but I do enjoy it (perhaps because I have a mad love affair with cheese that is bound to give me a heart attack some day).

  • Munchie Monday - Naked Pizza Review

When you think of American food, there are a few things that typically come to mind: steak, hot dogs, hamburgers, and pizza. It’s programmable, has the lock-on lid, and it even came with a probe thermometer (as it has a probe setting in addition to the program and manual settings) and a ladle. I was unnaturally excited to finally have a slow cooker in my life. And rightfully so! I can throw a bunch of food into this contraption, turn it on, come home 8 hours later, and have dinner ready that tastes just as good, if not better, as if I had slaved over it for 2 hours after work.

  • Munchie Monday - The Road to Health

I originally started Munchie Mondays to share with you my love for food, cooking, and entertaining. This year, the column will take a slight right turn. I will still share the same information, but with healthier options. I have recently joined Weight Watchers in a step to become healthier and I want to share my journey with you.

  • Munchie Mondays - The Dirty Dozen

Packaged and processed foods get many a family through the day. They are convenient and portable, and they stay fresh for a long time (thanks to all those preservatives). The additives put into processed foods to make them look and taste better include unhealthy amounts of salt, fat and sugar – and those are the ones you can pronounce.
