Last night, I made the most amazing discovery. I found an accessory that will completely change and trendify any outfit: Heel Condoms. The name sounds ridiculous, I know, but the product is absolutely awesome.
So, what on Earth is a Heel Condom? Well, it’s sort of like a reverse shoe clip. Shoe clips are designed to jazz up your shoes by clipping them to the toe part of a plain shoe. Similarly, Heel condoms go on the back of your shoe to give the same effect. The only difference is, Heel Condoms are far more dramatic than shoe clips.
They cover the heel and go up the back of the shoe, giving protection to the back of the shoe. This is where the “Condom” comes from in the name.
Have you seen those plain heels – in all kinds of colors – with a spray of feathers on the back of the shoe, above the heel? These shoes don’t come cheap. But now you can create that same effect for under $30, and you can do it over and over again to all your heels!
They are also great for travel. Just take 1 pair of heels with you when you travel, and take one, two, or even three for each day you’re away, and you still won’t run out of space in your suitcase. So much better than bringing five pairs of shoes on vacation!
If you have a cocktail party after work and don’t have time to change, slip on some Heel Condoms! If you have a big fundraiser gala and don’t want to spend a ton of money on shoes you will probably only wear once, grab a fabulous pair of Heel Condoms! Wear them to your cousin’s wedding or your sister-in-law’s engagement party or even your son or daughter’s bar or bat mitzvah! You can even wear them to work with a pair of dark jeans and a pretty top on casual Friday.
There are so many different styles, so you will definitely still be able to find one you like if you don’t want it to be too terribly flashy or big.
