September 8 Fashion’s Night Out
Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) is an unprecedented global initiative originally created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry’s economy during the recession. On September 8, 2011, the Baltimore Fashion Alliance will host Baltimore’s inaugural celebration of Fashion’s Night Out. The Baltimore Fashion Alliance (BFA) will be spotlighting local shops, boutiques, designers, fashion manufacturers, etc on this September evening. Each regestered business will receive a 6′ dressed table at the beautiful Intercontinental Harbor Court Hotel’s upstairs lobby. Space is limited, so register early for this opportunity to showcase your buisness. At the hotel there will be up to 40 of the Baltimore area’s finest designers, fashion manufacturers, etc on display. September 10 5th Annual Women Owned & Managed Enterprise Network (W.O.M.E.N.) Conference
Participants receive tools to help them create an Annual Action Plan based on three areas—leadership, entrepreneurship, and self improvement. Additionally, women who are interested in starting a business and existing women entrepreneurs receive resources to help managed their operation. Betascape 2011 is a multi-day experience designed to bring artists and technologists together to Learn & Connect to Create.
