September 8      Fashion’s Night Out

Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) is an unprecedented global initiative originally created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, and boost the industry’s economy during the recession. On September 8, 2011, the Baltimore Fashion Alliance will host Baltimore’s inaugural celebration of Fashion’s Night Out. The Baltimore Fashion Alliance (BFA) will be spotlighting local shops, boutiques, designers, fashion manufacturers, etc on this September evening. Each regestered business will receive a 6′ dressed table at the beautiful Intercontinental Harbor Court Hotel’s upstairs lobby. Space is limited, so register early for this opportunity to showcase your buisness. At the hotel there will be up to 40 of the Baltimore area’s finest designers, fashion manufacturers, etc on display. September 10   5th Annual Women Owned & Managed Enterprise Network (W.O.M.E.N.) Conference

Participants receive tools to help them create an Annual Action Plan based on three areas—leadership, entrepreneurship, and self improvement. Additionally, women who are interested in starting a business and existing women entrepreneurs receive resources to help managed their operation. Other resources include networking, matchmaking, mentoring, awards and scholarships (academic scholarships for women interested in business). September 13   Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce’s Sayonara Summer Social

NEXUS is the young professional’s committee of the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce and our annual networking event is coming up in a little over a month! This year we’re at Renegade Studios in Hunt Valley so come checkout their awesome location – we’ll be in their main production room! The event is from 5:30p – 8:00p and only costs $25 – even for those that don’t belong to the Chamber. September 24-25             Betascape 2011 – Learning Series & CreateCamp

Betascape 2011 is a multi-day experience designed to bring artists and technologists together to Learn & Connect to Create. Attendees will participate in one day of learning and workshopping and a one-day CreateCamp. The goal is to inspire artists and technologists to innovate at the intersection of art and technology in a whole new way. The $30 admission ticket includes admission to Saturday’s learning series and Sunday’s CreateCamp, breakfast and lunch both days, an attendee goodie bag and a 2011 Betascape t-shirt.
