Hear directly from IBM and Maersk as they introduce the first industry-wide cross-border supply chain solution on blockchain. Global trade digitization through blockchain technology is estimated to benefit the shipping process through efficiency and productivity gains, ultimately decreasing fraud and reducing waste and cost.
The Impact of the Offshore Wind Industry on Maryland’s Ports
Earlier this year, Maryland’s PSC approved two offshore wind projects. These projects, valued at more than $2 billion will be the largest offshore wind farms in the country and will put Maryland into the center of the domestic offshore wind industry. At this session attendees will learn about the many opportunities surrounding this program – which in addition to saving thousands of pounds of CO2 emissions, is estimated to create more than 5,000 jobs and countless business opportunities.
