Women Geeks – The “Not so New” Chic
MyCit4Her Media Founder and CCO Monyka Berrocosa pleased to celebrate the four incredible 2013 Trail Blazer award winners of the Center Club’s Women in Business Intra-Club that were honored this past Tuesday June 4, 2013.
“These four highly accomplished women all progressed on a stellar career trajectory largely due to their foundation in technology and choice to pursue it as a career, and this at a time when the moniker “geek” was not necessarily quite so “chic”, says Monyka Berrocosa Founder & Co-Chair of the Center Club Women in Business & CCO of MyCity4Her, Inc, “We at the Center Club Women in Business Intra-Club are honored to be recognizing them as what they are – vanguards, visionaries and Trail Blazers.”
About 65 of the region’s most influential and successful business women attended the private ceremony on Tuesday June 4, 2013 which took place at Baltimore’s Center Club, a private business club which was founded upon the principles of diversity and inclusion back in established in 1962 at a time when prominent Baltimore business and social leaders were seeking an environment that would offer fine cuisine and attentive service in a setting of privacy and tradition, regardless of a person’s race, religion, color or creed. Attendees of the evening’s delightful event read like a veritable “Who’s Who” of the Greater Baltimore women in business community included Brenda McKenzie (the new CEO of Baltimore Development Corporation), Cynthia Leppert,(the recently inducted President of the Baltimore City Bar Association), Janine Di Paula Stevens(CEO of Vircity & the President Elect of Network 2000 & existing President of NAWBO BRC), Cidalia Luis (CEO of M.
