The Baltimore Music Collective Started in 2005 with the Baltimore Music Conference and transformed into the Baltimore Independent Music and Arts Festival (BiMA.fest) in 2010, The annual event included all genres of music from rock & roll to country as well as electronic and dance music with past performers including Wu Tang Clan, Tittsworth, Adam F, Terry Mullan, Bossman, Planet of the Drums, Dynamix II, LTJ Bukem, MC Conrad, DJ Icey, Future Rock, Micro, Charles Feelgood, Deiselboy, Illy Emcee, Bad Boy Bill, 12th Planet, Smash Gordon, Oh Snap!, Get Em Mamis, Scottie B, DJ Pope, Dave Nada, Mullyman, and Headhunterz Inc. and many more.
Realizing that sometimes less is more, in 2011 BMC has teamed up with businesses MSquared Management and Farrah Shanel & Co., Artist Compound, Code Red Recordings, Real to the Art Entertainment, Diva Productions, One Nation Under A Grove, Flock Baltimore, Music For More, Gutter Magazine, Swarm Magazine, and Bawls to plan and develop an event that will concentrate on our first love…dance music with all its genres and sub-genres! We welcome all genres of dance music, hip hop artists, vocalists, livetronica and world music at MIXOLOGY.
