Critical Focus Questions for Entrepreneurs

I have been working with focus questions this past week.  Why? Because it helps to focus on what I need to do to get more business faster this month.  It’s not that I don’t know what to do.  It’s that having a direction and focusing question directs my energy to the most productive actions.

Here are some questions I make myself answer specifically and follow through on.  They only help if you use them!

What will I do tomorrow to find a new potential client?

What will I do today to close a piece of business?

Who will I contact this week to renew my relationship with them or create a new one?

What do I want to offer (service or product) that will interest, engage and intrigue potential and current clients?

Which current client is the most likely to engage me in the next 60 days? Call that person.

What will I create today that will open up a new market or create a need for my clients?

What do I need to do this week to keep myself open and listening so I can create the right offers?

How will I take care of myself today so I have energy to follow through on required activities?

How will I reward myself this week for closing a new engagement?

What could I post on any of my social networks that will get forwarded or liked?

Who are my evangelists and what have I done for them recently?

What topic will I write about that taps the collective consciousness that no one else is writing about?

That’s a good list to start with!  Go out there and close some business!
